Fat people deserve mobility aids, too. No matter if it's connected to their fatness or not, because having a mobility issue that is connected to one's fatness won't change that they're still fat and still have the issue at hand. Fat people don't deserve to "tough it out" because fatness should be this divine punishment doled out to those who "deserve" it. Fat disabled people deserve to have the peace of mind that they can exist in whatever way is most comfortable and accessible to them

Israel is expanding ground operations in Gaza and proudly announcing their murder plans while everyone watches because they have the full support of the US and other powerful governments. God save Palestine because we are literally seeing unimaginable horros unfold with Israel having a complete freehand in anything their vile brains decide to do.

cannot stop rotating wl!gem in my head after that episode. encouraging pearl and impulse to go after her enemies and then gossiping with scott about them afterwards. insane behaviour. the discussion about impulse. missing secret life. fucking helllll. i'm obsessed with how dedicated she is to the anti pearl and impulse campaign. how dedicated she is to painting them as aggressors, antagonizers, going into her base and looking through her fields, when she's undeniably the one starting shit with them. that one stream clip of her saying she's going to channel breakup coldness dialogue from subnautica against pearl. iconic behaviour. i love divorce

From @theinnocenceproject:
This is it. We only have 48 HOURS to stop Missouri from executing #MarcellusWilliams, an innocent man.
Every hour, every minute, every second is critical right now. And even though @GovParsonMO's office is closed today, we can’t let a single moment go by where we’re not urging him to take action. So today, we’re asking you to SHARE Marcellus’ story far and wide by creating your own post about him using the social media toolkit at the link in our bio, and include a call to action to sign our petition and call @GovParsonMO at 417-373-3400.
It is not too late for Gov. Parson to ensure that Missouri does not take an innocent man’s life.

I think the reason why the Utena finale always kills me is because that sweet, helpful, selfless little girl who gave her life for her brother without hesitation, even if she didn’t understand what that actually would mean for her for the rest of eternity, had been in that coffin the whole time.
Anthy insists that she’s soiled and ruined because of her abuse at Akio’s hands, and she genuinely believes it. She sees herself as a wreckage of that past innocent self, who lived when things were Better and died when they stopped being Better, and now what’s left is unsalvageable junk. A “fallen woman,” only capable of acting selfishly and cynically in the service of a man who no longer loves her, who deserves to be hurt again and again for her impurity and her foolishness in clinging to him, who cannot survive in the world outside.
And yet, upon waking up, the very first thing her “true,” unguarded self does is scream at Utena to run, to save herself, to leave her behind.
That selfless little girl never left, not even when she grew up into a jaded, tired young adult. She was always there. All the swords in the world couldn’t kill her. Akio couldn’t kill her. Not even Anthy herself could kill her, not with all the denial and repression and magic in the world.
And in the end, that little girl finally experienced the unconditional love she’d always been hoping for, the kind she’d always deserved but never received from the one she’d sacrificed herself for. And that tiniest glimpse of real love and real happiness was enough to help her escape from the prison she’d been trapped in her whole life, join hands with that tired and jaded old witch who’d spent what felt like eternity trying to bury her, and walk free.
All girls are like the Rose Bride, sure. Some boys are, too. Touga shared enough of Anthy’s trauma at Akio’s hands that he eventually got a sword pulled from his own chest, even if he was forbidden from wearing the bridal outfit because a boy wearing a suitable gown for the role would be against the Ohtori Academy dress code. However, the flipside of that is that if there’s hope for even the most hated little girl in the whole world, there’s also hope for the rest of us.

just thought about aaron going to class for the first time after the trial. like it finishes on a friday and he has to walk into a biology class on monday and act like nothing happened, and act like they haven’t all been talking about him and his brother all week, like they haven’t all been debating whether or not their classmate is a cold blooded murderer or not. did he silence the room when he walked in? did anybody even know what to say?

thinking about how dean’s monstrosity is about enjoying violence and torturing people (mostly men) & sam’s monstrosity is about being inherently unclean and his body being used as a tool for use and abuse by others

Maybe the reason why yotsuba Light and pre-kira Light is so vastly different in personality (he's more 'genuine' that is) is because yotsuba Light had L that kept him from feeling that mind-numbing boredom that pre-kira Light experienced prior to getting the death note.
Pre-kira Light literally had nothing to keep him entertained and that he was too powerless to change the broken justice system, so he's more closed-off and serious, literally just living through the motions like a dead man.
On the other hand, yotsuba Light met someone who's not just on par with his intelligence, but also one insufferable enough to annoy him that never made any dull moment possible with L around. Aside from that, yotsuba Light is literally working alongside the world's greatest detective helping him solve the world's hardest case that involved the justice system, so yeah, yotsuba Light really will take L's side of "justice" because detective L is legal whereas Kira's actions are not.

Khaled Mhajne, a lawyer who was able to meet Palestinian prisoners in the now-infamous Sde Teiman Israeli detention camp, described what he called a “criminal” situation “beyond imagination”.
Mhajne told Al Araby Al Jadeed that over 1,000 Palestinians from Gaza are being held in Sde Teiman.
“They sleep on the ground without blankets and pillows, and the Israeli forces deal with them in a criminal manner,” he said. Mhajne met with detained journalist Mohammad Arab, who has been “isolated from the world for months”.
Detainees are not allowed to speak to each other, and each one of them is given a singular minute to shower, and is penalised if they take longer, the lawyer said. Additonally, he said that “there are cases of rape and sexual abuse against Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons”.
“The war being waged against Palestinian prisoners, especially against the prisoners from the Gaza Strip, is a war no less criminal than what the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are experiencing,” he added.

This may have been done before; but I'm gonna say it;
If Thomas and Martha Wayne were still alive I believe 100% that 1. They knew about Batman 2. Their grandchildren would come to them whenever their son was being "unfair," and definitely side with them.
---------
Dick: *at their door drenched from the rain* Grammy... Grappy dad won't let me out tonight.
Thomas: Come in my boy, your Grammy is already on the phone with him.
*Dick once Thomas turns around Cheshire grin on his face*
-------
Jason: Grandpa! Dad took my guns away!
Martha: *dials Bruce while giving Jason a cookie.* Alfred? Where's my son?
Jason: *happily munching on the cookie.*
------
Tim & Steph: Pop-Pop! Gram- Gram! Dad won't let us go after Harvey or Riddler tonight.
Thomas: *annoyed huff while he dials his sons name*
Tim & Steph: *grinning like a cat knowing full well that they are allowed, but it's funny to see Bruce scramble.*
------
Cass: *signs aggressively as she explains that Bruce is keeping her back because of a paper cut.*
Martha: *cooing and signing back that they will handle it*
Cass: *smiling with all teeth*
-----
Martha: You allow Barbara to hack into that system, Bruce!
Bruce: She's not even my kid!
Martha: Bruce!
Bruce: *sighs* Fine!
--------
Damian: Grandfather. Grandmother. I acquire that you speak with Father about his unruly treatment.
Thomas & Martha: *Not even battling an eye* What did he do?
Damian: He took my game console.
Thomas & Martha: Bruce!
------
Duke: Pop's! Dad won't let me drive the batmoblie!
Thomas: *glares at Bruce*
Bruce: That is not what I s- fine.
Duke: *bright smile on his face*
All the while Bruce is just like;
Bruce: 🫤
And Alfred is; 😏

John MacTavish is a good Catholic boy, goes to church every Sunday when he's home. Meets lots of good Catholic girls that way, the ones who worry over their sins and are praying for a good husband. The ones who don't understand what the feeling is Johnny is causing in them with his casual touches and deep laughter.
His prick would never take their purity that's so important to them, good Catholic boy remember? But their tights arses and wet throats don't have hymens to break and he shepherds them oh so gently to give their bodies over to his care. Doing the Lords work really, ensuring all that lust is worked out of them so they aren't tempted by sins of the flesh that would ruin them for a husband.
And if sometimes he slides his fingers into that wet, warm, virgin flesh and sucks the blood off of them after he's stolen a little something for himself without them realising? Well, his priest will listen to his confession and offer him forgiveness if he repents.
